Research Interests
Dr Feng’s research work has focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms that regulate the repair of DNA breaks induced by ionizing radiation; and understanding how disruption of DNA repair pathway sensitizes the tumor cells to radiation and chemotherapeutic drugs. Some research results were published in PNAS, Nucleic Acid Research, DNA repair, J Biological Chemistry, Toxicology Research, etc; and cooperation work was published in Nature, J. Cell Biology, Cancer Research, etc.
Dr Feng’s research interests include DNA damage and repair, the mechanism of breast cancer induced by carcinogens, radiotherapy and chemotherapy to tumor cells, the effect of low dose radiation on radiation workers, as well as the relationship between occupational hazards and genetic stability.
